Process water pre-treatment with strong aeration
Contaminated process water with oil and organic matter gets powerful pre-treatment: strong oxygenation and stirring before the downstream treatment stages.
The customer's challenge
The facility's water contains contaminants such as oil and other substances from stormwater and industrial processes — with foam on the surface indicating organic matter and chemicals. The downstream treatment stages needed better-conditioned water to perform.
The solution
The customer installed an aerator from Eden Aquatech to enable pre-treatment with strong oxygenation and stirring. This has proven to work very well: the contaminated water arrives at the facility's further treatment processes in a state they can handle efficiently.
