AirTURBO™ RV2 aerator
A highly energy-efficient surface aerator delivering up to 52 m³/h of atmospheric air and an oxygen capacity of 90 kg O₂/day (SOTR) — proven in 200+ installations.
The AirTURBO™ RV2 is a surface aerator developed by Eden Aquatech for oxygen-deprived water environments, built to withstand tough conditions. It is easy to install and maintain, and can be relocated when needs change.
The aerator has been continuously improved since the 1990s. After more than 200 installations in Scandinavia, the technology is well-tested and highly successful: innovative design enables high oxygenation at low operational cost.
The oxygen capacity is measured in a test tank at 90 kg O₂/day at 20 °C (SOTR), with 52 m³/h of atmospheric air distributed efficiently beneath the water surface — even in large volumes of water.
Advantages
Low operational costs
The impeller design and IE5-rated motor cut energy consumption by up to 50%. Normal operation draws approximately 2.5–3.0 kW.
More efficient aeration
Every operating hour supplies 52 m³ of atmospheric air, efficiently distributed beneath the surface. Oxygen supply capacity exceeds 90 kg O₂/day (SOTR).
Low maintenance costs
Soft start and self-regulating speed in relation to load, combined with the robust construction, keep maintenance costs to a minimum.
Remote monitoring via IoT
Optionally monitor and control the aerator remotely. Operational changes and energy consumption are tracked and documented for optimal operation.
Used within

Surface Water
Excess phosphorus and nitrogen cause algal blooms, murky water and oxygen depletion. We restore lakes, rivers and wetlands with biological methods — without harmful chemicals.

Leachate Water
Water percolating through landfills dissolves heavy metals, nutrients, organics and PFAS. Our systems treat leachate on site — with pollutant reductions of up to 99.5%.

Stormwater
Rain and meltwater running off roofs, streets and industrial areas carries pollutants with it. We treat urban stormwater before it reaches lakes, rivers and the sea.

Cooling Water
Water that cools machines, industrial processes and power plants absorbs heat and often picks up chemicals. We cool and clean it before discharge — or bring it back into your process.
