Floating walls
Control flows and create treatment volumes in ponds. Floating walls eliminate short-circuit flows and give every treatment stage the retention time it needs.
Stagnant water leads to oxygen-deprived areas with decay and unpleasant odors. Excessive flow, on the other hand, reduces the ability to treat organic and inorganic material effectively. Floating walls solve both problems at once.
By controlling the flow through the pond, floating walls optimize the conditions for effective treatment throughout the entire volume. They provide longer retention times, prevent oxygen-deprived areas from forming, and minimize "short-circuit flows" — eliminating the risk of hydrological bypass.
Through extended retention time, treatment volumes are created that enhance the effectiveness of every other stage in the system: aeration, chemical dosing or sedimentation.
Advantages
Optimized water treatment
Prevents stagnation and oxygen-deprived zones by distributing the flow evenly — improving the effectiveness of complementary treatment methods.
No hydrological bypass
By limiting unwanted flows and directing water through the entire system, untreated water can no longer slip past the treatment stages.
Flexible and energy-efficient
Adapts to various water environments and requires minimal maintenance — a sustainable and cost-effective investment over time.
Used within

Leachate Water
Water percolating through landfills dissolves heavy metals, nutrients, organics and PFAS. Our systems treat leachate on site — with pollutant reductions of up to 99.5%.

Stormwater
Rain and meltwater running off roofs, streets and industrial areas carries pollutants with it. We treat urban stormwater before it reaches lakes, rivers and the sea.

Surface Water
Excess phosphorus and nitrogen cause algal blooms, murky water and oxygen depletion. We restore lakes, rivers and wetlands with biological methods — without harmful chemicals.
