Surface water & aquatic restoration
Excess phosphorus and nitrogen cause algal blooms, murky water and oxygen depletion. We restore lakes, rivers and wetlands with biological methods — without harmful chemicals.
Surface water is the water found in lakes, rivers, seas and wetlands. Eutrophication occurs when an excess of nutrients — primarily phosphorus and nitrogen — enters the soil and water. The result is increased algae growth, higher turbidity and recurring algal blooms.
As these organisms decompose, they consume oxygen, and the water body can tip into oxygen depletion: foul odors, fish kills and a collapsing ecosystem. Eutrophication primarily affects water bodies in densely populated or agricultural areas.
Restoring the balance biologically
Eden Aquatech treats the cause, not just the symptoms. By combining efficient aeration with microbiological treatment, we restore oxygen levels, stabilize the nutrient cycle and bring the aquatic environment back into biological balance — without harmful chemicals.
For lakes and ponds with persistent internal nutrient loading, see our dedicated approach to aquatic restoration and microbiological water management.
